Partnership with Compete is a relationship, not a booking. It involves mutual commitment to the goal of raising the standard of competitive racket sports in Chennai. Here is what the different types look like.
Partner courts
Venues that host Compete events on a regular basis. Partner courts are part of our monthly event schedule distributed across the city. They meet Compete's standards for surface quality, lighting, and management ethos, and they commit to making their courts available for Compete-organised events. In return, they get consistent player traffic, city-wide visibility, and association with the Compete brand. Read more about what being a partner court involves.
Tournament sponsors
Brands or businesses that fund or contribute to prize pools, or provide named sponsorship for specific events. Sponsorship can be event-level or ongoing across multiple events. Read more about tournament sponsorship.
Equipment partners
Sports brands and equipment suppliers who provide shuttlecocks, balls, paddles, or other equipment used at Compete events. Equipment partners get on-day branding presence and association with competitive play across Chennai.
Community partners
Organisations, clubs, or platforms with aligned communities — players, coaches, academies — who want a formal relationship with Compete's event calendar and player base. Community partnership is the most flexible category and is defined case by case.
What Compete brings to any partnership
- A growing player base of active, competitive players across Chennai
- A full event calendar running weekly and monthly across the city
- Digital infrastructure: player profiles, ratings, leaderboards, match history — all publicly visible
- A brand position built on validated competition, not casual play or court booking
What Compete expects from partners
Commitment to quality and to the standard of competitive play. Compete does not partner with venues, brands, or organisations that are misaligned with what the platform stands for. Partnership involves a formal agreement — an MOU covering what both sides commit to, how long the partnership runs, and what the terms are.
